Frequently Asked Questions

Great service starts with clear answers. These are the questions our customers ask most often — and how we make sure every job goes smoothly from start to finish.

It depends on the type and color of glass — but we move fast without ever sacrificing quality. We know your storefront reflects your business, so we work hard to get it looking great again as quickly as possible.

  • Door glass: If it’s a standard size in clear or bronze, we can usually replace it the same day.
  • Window glass: Because window sizes and safety requirements vary, most pieces need to be custom-cut or ordered.
  • For windows that require safety glass, we can often cut and install clear laminated glass the same day. However, laminated glass is a higher-cost product and not as strong as tempered glass, so we typically recommend tempered glass for most commercial applications.
  • Tempered glass is factory-made, more durable, and often more cost-effective overall. These panels usually arrive the next business day, and we install them as soon as they pass our quality inspection — usually the same day they arrive, or the next if delivery comes in late.
  • Insulated (dual-pane) glass units: These are made-to-order at the factory and typically take 3–5 business days. If the unit has special colors, coatings, or unusual dimensions, it can take up to one to two weeks, depending on factory lead times.

We always aim to provide the perfect balance of speed and precision. Every piece of glass is carefully inspected before installation, and we coordinate scheduling around your business hours whenever possible.

Yes, we sure do — and we make it easy. Most of our estimates are done right over the phone, by text, or by email, so you can get a price fast without waiting for someone to come out. That helps us keep costs down and keeps your project moving quickly.

Once you've seen the preliminary estimate and you're comfortable with it, we'll schedule a free site visit to take accurate measurements and confirm all the details. If anything looks different when we're on-site, we'll tell you right away — no surprises, no pressure, and no commitment until you approve the final estimate and we're ready to order materials.

Because our team puts real time into measuring, checking frames, and making sure everything's safe and done right, we just like to confirm we're a good fit before sending someone out. For bigger or more complex jobs, we're happy to come out in person for a quote. But for most door glass, non-rush glass, and board-up services, we can give you a quick, accurate price right over the phone.

Yes — we're licensed California contractors, which also means we're bonded and insured. The state makes sure we meet all safety, training, and legal requirements, so you can feel confident your project's being handled by professionals who know exactly what they're doing.

You don't have to send them — but it definitely helps! A few quick photos (or rough measurements if you have them) help us make sure your quote is accurate and realistic before we come out.

Glass colors can be tricky — what looks "clear" might actually be gray, bronze, or low-E coated — and photos help us spot those details, along with any obstacles or damage around the frame.

If you'd rather not measure, that's fine — a couple of good pictures usually tell us everything we need to know.

Yes — every service we do is guaranteed. Your satisfaction is always guaranteed — that's our overall promise. But we also back each service type with its own specialized guarantee, so you always know exactly what's covered:

  • Door service and door glass are backed by our Trouble-Free Guarantee™ and Lock-Up Guarantee™, keeping your doors secure, smooth, and reliable.
  • Glass replacement includes our Leak-Free Guarantee™ and Color-Match Guarantee™, ensuring the glass fits perfectly, looks right, and stays watertight.
  • Board-up services are protected by our Secure-Fit Guarantee™, meaning your storefront will be fully secured without frame damage or loose materials.

Every guarantee we offer comes down to one thing: we take pride in our work, and we stand behind it — every time.

Residential and commercial glass work are closely related — but each requires its own specialized training. Our technicians are trained specifically for storefront systems, which have their own unique hardware, framing, and safety requirements.

By focusing on this specialty, our team knows storefronts inside and out — allowing us to deliver faster service, higher precision, and better long-term results for our business clients. Residential properties have their own special needs and standards, and we've found that we can serve our commercial customers best by concentrating fully on their unique requirements.

Yes, we do! We replace and repair Herculite glass doors and their hardware — including closers and pivots. Because these doors are made from thick tempered glass, they're custom-ordered to fit, so same-day replacement isn't possible.

If your door breaks, we can secure the opening right away with a professional board-up that still allows access to your business while your new glass is being made.

We'll make sure your storefront stays safe, secure, and professional-looking while you wait. If your glass needs to be ordered, we'll do what's best and most cost-effective for your situation:

  • For dual-pane units where only one pane is broken, we'll remove the damaged glass and safety tape the outer edge to keep everything stable until your replacement arrives.
  • For cracked annealed glass that's still safe in the frame, we'll tape over the crack to make sure it stays in place and that nobody accidentally gets cut.
  • If needed, we'll board up the opening using wooden cleats (never screwing directly into your frame) for maximum protection and a clean finish.

Whatever the case, our goal is to keep your property secure and your business looking cared-for while you wait for the new glass.

Yes — we accept all major credit cards, including American Express, and we never charge extra for using one. Whether you’re paying a deposit, a final balance, or an emergency board-up, you can pay securely by card with no processing fees.

Yes — we do offer terms for qualified commercial accounts. As a commercial storefront service company, we understand that many of our clients — especially facilities managers and property teams — need flexible billing options.

We offer 30-, 45-, or 60-day terms upon approval of a simple credit application. Once approved, we’ll collect your payer and billing contact information to ensure invoices go to the right place.

All we ask is that there’s an accounts payable department or authorized person who can sign off on accepting responsibility for payment. As long as your account remains in good standing, we’ll continue to honor your terms.
